The views from the mountain are amazing, giving you the best of both worlds. The couple running this gem was helpful, going out of their way to provide fantastic recommendations for local dining and fun adventures. Every breakfast was a good treat, with delicious options, made mornings something to look forward to.

The room with an amazing view.

We would stay here again, thank you for the comfortable stay. The venue is wonderful, it offers exceptionally nice breakfast and has wonderful location not far from Calle Real and willies that are kind of jeeps which take tourists anywhere from fincas to cocora valley and the river and the forest. The rooms are huge and spotless, with a safe box, a couch bed and an iron. The cost is usd 276592.

The ventilation in my room was quite poor, leading to a damp, uncomfortable environment, hard to relax. I also encountered issues with rough towels that felt abrasive, and I frequently found the timing for breakfast to be off, causing delays that impacted my morning plans. I struggled to appreciate my time when simple comforts were overlooked.

This place, Ecoresort Gran Azul, was a major letdown. First off, I had serious issues with the breakfast timing-staff just dragging their feet. Plus, my towels were so rough they was like sandpaper. I almost thought of giving a glowing review until I realized I was treated like everyone else when I expected VIP treatment.

Surrounded by nature, I enjoyed amazing views from my room and during breakfast with fresh juice and eggs. The owner, Cristina, was gracious, providing excellent local dining and activity suggestions.

Request a hairdryer in advance since staff aren't on-site after hours, and consider using insect repellent to keep bugs at bay, especially at night.

The breakfast variety was somewhat limited, a slight disappointment .
